Working Together – Connecting Rehabilitation to the Work Place in the Nordic Countries
4th Nordic Conference about Work and Rehabilitation to be held in Reykjavik, Iceland, September 5 – 7 2016.
Themes of the conference:
- How do we facilitate workplace integration through disability management?
- How can we predict early/late return to work after sickness absences?
- Does the diagnosis have anything to do with how we make decisions about individual´s work ability?
- How do workplaces incorporate work disability intervention and prevention when dealing with sickness absences and return to work?
- How efficient is the individual placement and support (IPS) model in returning people back to work?
The conference is intended for vocational rehabilitation professionals, researchers, employers, union representatives and rehabilitation professionals with the social insurance services and health care.
The conference is arranged by VIRK – Vocational Rehabilitation Fund, Iceland in cooperation with Linköping University, Sweden, AIR – National Advisory Unit on Occupational Rehabilitation, Rauland, Norway, Marselisborg Centre, Denmark and Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, Finland.
